"Deliciously Golden" is a great design that would work on a multitude of different surfaces.  Learn to paint realistic apples using bottled acrylics.  The surface I chose is available from Viking Woodcrafts.

This is another design for one of my MDF serving trays. This design includes a fruit still life sitting in a graniteware bowl and stroke work holly leaves for a border.

Painting apples is a wonderful way to strengthen your strokework ability.  The detail on my apples is applied with a "comb" brush and adds all the detail that you need.  This trio of  apples will look wonderful on your surface or on this paddle board.  Surface is available.
